This job never gets old. Love being able to meet with families within that first 24-48 hour timeframe and capture all the newness of their new little bundles.
I wouldn't trade my job for anything! Got to meet sweet sweet Kian for his Fresh 48 session at just a wee 16 hours old. Such a calm, peaceful and beautiful baby and I couldn't adore his family more!
Handsome little Greyson was by far my most awake and CALM baby I've photographed in a long time. He was just as content as can be taking in the world around him and couldn't have cared in the least that I was posing and photographing him. I did manage to get him to sleep though and was able to get some of those typical beautiful sleepy shots too ;)
I've always loved doing birth photography, but Fresh 48's are so calm and relaxed. Just Mom, Dad, sometimes grandparents and of course, siblings getting to meet the new member of the family. Always melts my heart.

Newborn sessions are definitely my passion, but Fresh 48's are a close second. Love being able to capture those first few hours or days after a family has welcomed their newest addition.
